my sculpture

This is ny sculpture for my class of 3D, its a zombie face, i have used red clay to make this face, a knife and one spatula, first i made the shape of the face, nose, mouth and eyes, after i've used more clay to make the teeth, the tongue eyes and some details tha the face has now, like a zombie, he has i dilapidated face with sprain skin and crazy expresion, i made some holes in the skin where is the brain and some bone styles that look like a mutation, the last step was empty in of the heath because its good if you want to put your piece in the oven.

The sculpture its one of the diffetents art styles that we was working, in the sculpture you have the posibility to work with diffetens materials like clay wood stones metal, anythign that you want, you are free to esperiment with diffetens stuff and diffents techniques, its a free world with differents posibilities, personaly i was working with clay these last weeks and its awesome the differents things that you can make, plates, pots, jugs, shapes, humans shapes, to much ways to take, its a experience that every artist have to taste, abstract art or hiperrealistic, any style or any material, i think that its the base of the art.

Patterns is a repeating unit of shapes or forms, combining colors and shape, you can make differents design, we using the pattern normaly in clothes, books, on arquitecture in fact, where something are repeating constantly. its one of the differents style of art that we are working, personaly i think that work with patters its one of the best work, because are to much way to take and esperiment with differents techniques as well, we can use computer to work with this as well.

graphic design or 3d design like technique

Graphic design and 3d design are both careers that are working with computer to make shapes of visual messages, using differents specials apps working on 3 dimensions, its a communication way where the people can to see a messange from differents ways, its

a new style of art where greats to the new technology, itself can to make anything that he want, its a new world to explore!!

Stefan Sagmeister

Stefan Sagmeister is a graphic designer that was born in Austrian in 1962, he is a co-founder with Jessica Walsh a design firm called Sagmeister and Walsh. he has designed covers for the Rolling Stones, ok GO, Aerosmith, etc...
he studied graphic design at the university of applied Arts of Vienna, and later he received a full bright scholarship to study in New York at Pratt institute.

For made this I used cinema 4D, is a program to make 3d shapes, in class we made a simple work with simples shapes like cones, spheres, and cubes, after we've put the floor and used new materials for make the tones and colours, with different effects we can make to much things like body shapes and scenes, the professional use this program for make movies and video games, it,s a little complicate but with  practice you can make any thing hat you want.

In this exercice we used the adobe illustrator to make logos, example mtv or apple, are some of examples that you can make with this program. The process is the same connect the docs between their with vectors and after put colour inside, to make this we have a guide to follow, its simple but you need to get a little knowledge about adobe illustrator. On the guide we have the step that we have to follow and describe how we can make logos with the program.

cat!!

I made this cat with the adobe illustrator, first i drew the sketch about an animal, i chosen a cat, but you can chose any animal or pet that you want, after i pass the sketch to the computer., with scan, and with the illustrator using vector traced lines around the sketch to make the same shape and this is the result, its a simple draw and the illustrator work its not complicate to make, obviously, if its the first time that you use adobe illustrator, the best is make a simple drawing!

we are working with vector, that is a exercise for lear how we can use the vectors, im interested in this program now that i know how working.

more things

This is the first exercise that we made with adobe illustrator and using vectors,  first the star, you have a star shape and the first thing that you would to do is put the first doc one of the star corner, and after you put another doc on another corner and the program make the line that unite the docs. is all the time the same to get the star shape with vectors. After you have more exercise to do, and improve the technique with vectors.

bad pig!!

In this exercise we should to make a logo with an animal, i've chosen the pig, first i made the pig sketch  in my sketchbook and after i've scanned the sketch to work with the computer, using again the adobe illustrator, we have to connect all lines and docs to make the same shape but with vectors, this part was a little complicate because this drawing has some details that is hard to make with the illustrator if you never had used before. I've used the brush to make this, i think that was more simple, like photoshop, but with vectors, its not the same because in photoshop are pixel, the result is different but the style of work similar. 

sketch of a woman  face, i've made that with graphic tablet and photoshop. i need to improve more how put shadows, the perspective is good, maybe i need to change the brush, use one less strong. i save this here, and maybe i'll put colour, i need to learn how.

somethings of class, are words and the design show what that mean, like the shadows word has a shadow under the word, or gallant, has a lot colours and a little bizarre, the water word look like a water that is flowing. they are some examples about this project, the monograms.

Is the same picture but better.

this are monograms, different designs with my initial name and surname, i used a graphic tablet for make this, are simples but my favourite in which have a circle and the initials are in the middle. The idea i think that is make something that represent something about you, or any thing that you like, example i made a bridge, because i live close to someone, some of the design can be fancy, or really any design its alright.

I made this first in a fabric for my pattern project, after i scanned this and with photoshop, then you copy the same picture and put next to original and after wit the photoshop you can change the colour and the bright, measures, any thing that you want to change, to make mosaics.
